Terms of Use

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Welcome to Pim. These terms are an agreement between you and Monocraft Labs ("Pim," "we," "us"), and they govern your use of the Pim app and website. By using Pim, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy — it explains how we handle your information and is part of this agreement.

1. What Pim is (and isn't)

Pim is a journaling and self-reflection app with an AI companion: you can write entries, log moods, read quotes, and chat with Pim, which uses artificial intelligence to respond and to remember small things about you over time.

Pim is not therapy, not a medical or mental-health service, and not a substitute for professional care. Pim cannot diagnose, treat, or respond to emergencies. AI-generated responses can be imperfect or inaccurate, and they are not professional advice of any kind. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact a professional or a crisis line — you can find one for your country at findahelpline.com; in the US, call or text 988. If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

2. Who can use Pim

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pim. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Pim only with the consent of a parent or guardian. By using Pim, you confirm that the information you provide about yourself (such as your date of birth) is accurate.

3. Your account

You can create an account with Sign in with Apple or with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for the activity on your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at [email protected].

4. Subscriptions (Pim PRO)

Pim is free to download and use. Some features require a paid subscription, Pim PRO:

5. Your content

Everything you write in Pim — journal entries, moods, conversations — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the limited permission needed to operate Pim: to process your text to generate responses, distill the short memory notes that make Pim feel personal, and store those notes in your private account, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse Pim. In particular, you agree not to:

7. Our property

Pim — including the app, its design, the Pim character, wordmark, and all related content (except your content) — belongs to Monocraft Labs and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

8. Ending things

You can stop using Pim and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, which permanently erases your cloud data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other users or our systems at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as 5, 7, 9, and 10) do survive.

9. Disclaimers

Pim is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Pim will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate or appropriate for your situation. Your use of Pim is at your own discretion; always use your own judgment, especially regarding your health and wellbeing.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monocraft Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Pim. Our total liability for any claim relating to Pim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or USD 50 if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

Pim will evolve, and these terms may too. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continued use of Pim after an update means you accept the revised terms.
